Below are details of my current courses and electives being offered as part of the MBA at the Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria. All elective courses have been designed by me and delivered over the last ten years.
Advanced Entrepreneurship
This elective course seeks to expand student's knowledge of entrepreneurship, exploring the nature of the entrepreneur, the opportunity, and the venture.
New Venture Creation
This elective course focusses directly on the launch of a new high-growth startup venture using the framework of Disciplined Entrepreneurship and Business Model development.
Entrepreneurial Finance
This elective course is a highly innovative program, providing a conference-like setting as a range of investors and actors within the finance arena work alongside students.
Corporate Innovation
This elective course is aimed at those in the corporate domain who seek to facilitate or improve levels of innovation or entrepreneurial activity within their firms.
Tech Entrepreneurship
This hands-on elective course develops student knowledge, skills, and abilities in order to design, develop, and launch a technology startup business in the global context.
Innovation & Design
The core MBA course focuses on Innovation, Design & Entrepreneurship. I teach components of this course related to the entrepreneurial mindset and context.
